Marinate the chicken
Toss the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, brown sugar, and steak seasoning into a big zip-top bag and squish it around to mix. Drop in the chicken breasts (leave them whole or cut them into thick diagonal strips), seal it up, and stick it in the fridge for at least a couple hours. Honestly you can do this the night before and it only gets better.
- 2
Fire up the grill
Get your grill going to medium-high heat. Gas or charcoal, doesn't matter, just get some real heat on it.
- 3
Cook the bacon
While the grill heats, chop the bacon and cook it in a pan until crispy. Pull it out onto a paper-towel-lined plate to drain.
- 4
Make the glaze
Pour off the bacon grease but don't wipe out the pan. Add the honey, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce and let it bubble over medium heat. Stir in the crispy bacon and cook 1-2 minutes until it thickens up a little, then pull it off the heat. It'll keep thickening as it cools.
- 5
Grill the chicken
Brush the grate with a little oil so nothing sticks, then lay the chicken down. Toss the marinade. Grill 2-4 minutes per side over medium-high until it's cooked through and no longer pink in the middle.
- 6
Glaze and serve
Spoon that spicy honey bacon glaze right over the top. Great with some grilled veggies or baby bell peppers on the side. Grab a cold drink and dig in.
