    Mix up the marinade

    In a large shallow dish, stir together the finely chopped green onions, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne. This is the flavor bomb, don't rush it.

    Let the shrimp hang out

    Toss in the peeled and deveined shrimp (tails on if you've got 'em) and turn to coat. Cover and stick it in the fridge for 15 minutes — just enough time to crack a cold one and fire up the grill.

    Skewer it up

    Drain the shrimp and ditch the marinade. Cut each lemon into 8 wedges. Thread the shrimp and lemon wedges onto 12 metal or soaked wooden skewers.

    Hit the grate

    Grill covered over medium heat, turning once, until the shrimp turn pink — about 6-8 minutes total. Squeeze those charred lemon wedges right over the top before serving.
