Prep everything
Core the green apple and cut it, the English cucumber, and a 1-inch piece of ginger into pieces thin enough to fit your juicer's feed tube. Peel the yellow skin off the lemon but leave as much of the white pith as you can, then slice it and pick out the seeds. Set half the lemon aside for now.

Run it through the juicer
Turn the juicer on and feed everything through, alternating between the soft greens (spinach and parsley) and the firm stuff (apple, cucumber, ginger, and half the lemon). Pushing a firm piece right after the greens keeps the pulp from clogging up.

Taste and pour
Give it a stir and taste. Want more brightness? Juice the other half of the lemon. Too tart? Run a second apple through to round it out. Pour over ice and drink it fresh — this one doesn't like to sit.
