Prep your fruit
Core the pears and chop them into chunks. For the thickest, frostiest texture, freeze the pear chunks and the peeled banana ahead of time — frozen fruit is what turns this from a thin juice into a proper milkshake-style smoothie. If you're using fresh fruit, toss in a handful of ice at the end.

Layer the blender
Add the milk and vanilla Greek yogurt to the blender first (liquids on the bottom blend way smoother), then the pears, banana, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Add the honey last so you can taste and adjust.
- 3
Blend until silky
Start on low and work up to high, blending 30 to 50 seconds until completely smooth with no pear bits left. Give it a taste — if your pears were really ripe you may not need all the honey; if they were underripe, add the second tablespoon.

Pour and drink
Pour into two glasses and drink it right away while it's cold and thick. A little extra cinnamon dusted on top makes it feel like fall in a glass.
