Make the crust
Preheat oven to 350°F. In a shallow bowl, combine bread crumbs, minced garlic, chopped parsley, Parmesan, chopped thyme, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Add 4 tablespoons melted butter and toss to coat.

Prep the salmon
Pat the salmon fillet dry. Place skin side down in a greased baking dish. Brush with the remaining 2 tablespoons melted butter, then press the crumb mixture evenly over the top.

Bake
Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the salmon just begins to flake easily with a fork and the crust is golden. Serve with lemon wedges.

Notes & Tips
The crust is the whole point here — garlicky bread crumbs with fresh parsley, thyme, and a hit of Parmesan, bound together with butter and pressed onto the fillet before it goes in the oven. The fish stays tender underneath while the top gets golden. Serve it with a wedge of lemon and something green on the side.
