    Preheat and Prep

    Preheat your oven to 375°F. Lightly grease an 8 or 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray and set it aside.

    Brown the Beef

    In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.

    Add Onion and Garlic

    Add the diced onion to the skillet and sauté for 4 to 5 minutes until soft and translucent. Add the minced garlic and cook, stirring frequently, for another minute.

    Season and Add Worcestershire

    Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and season generously with salt and pepper. Give everything a good stir and remove from heat.

    Layer the Casserole

    Transfer the beef mixture to your prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly. Spoon the condensed cream of mushroom soup over the top (no need to dilute it — it cooks down beautifully). Next, add the drained green beans in an even layer and season them lightly with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the green beans, then arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top.

    Bake uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes, until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy and the cheese is bubbly underneath. Serve hot straight from the dish.
