Salt the rim
Moisten the rim of a highball glass with water or a lemon wedge. Sprinkle about 1/4 tsp of the celery salt on a small plate and dip the rim to coat it. Fill the glass with ice and set it aside.
- 2
Shake it up
Fill a cocktail shaker three-quarters full with ice. Add the vodka, tomato juice, lemon juice, lime juice, Worcestershire, horseradish, black pepper, the remaining celery salt, and hot sauce. Cover and shake 10 to 15 seconds — just until the shaker frosts up on the outside. Don't overdo it; shaking too hard melts the ice and waters the whole thing down.
- 3
Pour and garnish
Strain into the prepared glass over the fresh ice. Garnish however you like — a celery stalk, a pickle spear, olives, a cucumber slice, even a shrimp if you're feeling extra. Sip and rebuild as needed.
