Brown the beef
In a Dutch oven or big soup pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink, then drain. Stir in the taco seasoning until the beef is evenly coated.

Load the pot
Stir in the water, the chili beans with their liquid, the corn (drained), the pinto beans (rinsed and drained), the stewed tomatoes, the diced tomatoes with green chiles, the chopped green chiles, and the ranch dressing mix.

Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer uncovered for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until everything is heated through and the flavors come together.
